American Tamil Academy (ATA) has structured the curriculum for Tamil Learning based on practical usage and successful/best processes. From Mazhalai to Nilai7, ATA syllabus is catering to basic alphabets, written/Spoken Tamil to Advanced Grammar.

ATA has posted the Nilai wise Teacher/Parent Orientation video session in the website from Mazhalai to Nilai3. ATA Classroom text books have clear instruction to teachers on specific topics and generic instructions to properly teach the specific ATA Nilai. With all these in place already, we still foresee a need for a formal Tamil Teacher Training for all the schools who use the ATA Syllabus. This effort is bridge the small gap in scenarios where the Teachers have lack of time or formal teaching process missing in handling all the ATA Nilai syllabus.

The success of ATA Syllabus or any syllabus lies in the proper understanding and teaching of the curriculum across all schools and levels. This would reiterate the confidence of teachers to formally teach the entire ATA Nilai syllabus in a more stream lined way and to complete the ATA Nilai in one academic year.

Process Flow:
Step 1: Self register for the level of Training
Step 2: Send the check for the Printed Book for Advanced Level. For basic level, ATA will email the soft copy and/or enable it online
Step 3: ATA will enroll the Teacher to the ATA LMS system with existing User ID and pwd OR provision a new ID Step 4: ATA will communicate the Monthly conference call Teacher Training session schedule
Step 5: ATA will check with each Teacher who is taking the training whether they completed the requisite hours and ready for Final Evaluation
Step 6: Online self-evaluation will be enabled via ATA-LMS on predetermined date and time to complete the evaluation and certification

Questions regarding registration, sessions, payment and other queries should be send to the email training@amtaac.org
